What is Americano Padel?

Americano is a social padel format where players rotate partners after each round. Unlike traditional tournaments where you stick with one partner, Americano ensures you play alongside—and against—every participant throughout the event.

Points are accumulated individually, so even if your team loses a match, you keep the points you scored. At the end of the tournament, the player with the most total points wins. This format is perfect for clubs wanting to help members meet new people and for events mixing different skill levels.

How It Works

1

Players Register

8-24 players sign up for the tournament. The organizer sets the date, time, and court availability.

2

Random Pairings

For each round, partners are randomly assigned. The system ensures you don't play with the same partner twice.

3

Play Matches

Each match is typically played to a set number of points (e.g., first to 32). Both team members earn the points scored.

4

Rotate & Repeat

After each round, partners change. You'll play multiple rounds throughout the event.

5

Individual Winner

The player with the highest total points across all matches wins the tournament.
